...to be jolly.. tr la la la... Oh and how many of us hope for the "jolly" to be found brimming in our Christmas stocking! Busying ourselves with decorations for the festivities, trees sparkling, bells jingly, carols singing, cupboards stocked with food & presents tied with pretty little bows all in anticipation to share with loved ones, friends & family. We prepare for the wonders of the season in celebration of our beliefs embracing the Christmas spirit & with hope for the year to come vibrating in the air. For many this sharing of love & laughter can be saddened by the missing of loved ones who roam this earth no more in their physical. Some suffer heartbreak & worries that cloud their vision of joy & hope for the future. And others, well...many find themselves without food, comfort or shelter, their only wish is for the cold depths of winter to pass quickly or finding a cardboard box to sleep in that isnt sodden by the rain. No matter what our circumstances this Christmas, no matter where we are or whatever situations we find ourselves in, know this ~ It all comes to pass! Tomorrow is not the same as today or as it was yesterday & by feeling love in our hearts with remembrance for all those we hold dear, for gratitude for the good and the not so good, for the mistakes & lessons we have learnt, for the blessings & wonders, the sharing & caring, for the gift of Life ~ For times gone by and for times to come we can choose to bring the "jolly" each & every day. Happiness isnt gifted to us from another, happiness comes from within, your true spirit, your soul, your heart, your love - stop peeking in the Christmas stocking, it isnt there ~ you have carried it with you all your life & its now time to rejoice in the joy of you!
